Watch Powerlifter Daniel Bell Squat 480 Kilograms (1,058.2 Pounds) in Training

Daniel Bell is one of the strongest powerlifters in the sport. Competing in the super heavyweight weight class (140+ kilograms), Bell routinely squats over 453.6 kilograms (1,000 pounds) in competition. Recently, he shared a video on his Instagram page of him performing a 480-kilogram (1,058.2-pound) squat in wraps. That is quite the significant lift because it is just two-and-a-half kilograms below his competition best squat with wraps of 482.5 kilograms (1,063.7 pounds) hit at the World Raw Powerlifting Federation (WRPF) American Barbell Club Open on Nov. 23, 2019.
