Para Powerlifter Sedric Roussel Competes to Change Society’s Mindset

Sedric Roussel of Hungary started training as a Para powerlifter at the young age of14 After contending in wheelchair basketball by means of the recommendation from his orthopedic doctor to exercise as typically as possible, he found his method into the fitness center.

In order to get much better at wheelchair basketball, Roussel wanted to develop his arms.

The combination of Roussel’s interest in para powerlifting and Farkas’s network led to an introduction to Peter Farago, coach of the Hungarian Powerlifting Federation. Ever since, Roussel has competed on the world phase in World Para Powerlifting (WPP) approved events on seven various occasions and has landed on the podium two times.
