When I learnt I was pregnant with my child, Max, I chose to continue powerlifting as typical. At that point, I had been powerlifting for about 3 years and an accredited personal fitness instructor for about six. I was comfy and confident in the gym, and I understood what my body might handle. Max is my 2nd child. While pregnant with my daughter, 6, I lifted and treked typically, however I was not into powerlifting yet. Still, I understood the advantages of continuing to work out. She was born full-term, perfectly healthy in an unmedicated vaginal birth.
